dear pioneers, thanks a bunches.

thanks for risking your lives for what you believed in so i could be raised into this gospel today. thanks for walking all those miles to find the land the lord promised you. thanks for preparing this land to hold 15 temples and over 5,000 lds church buildings so that us, your future generations could reap the blessings. thanks to those who spent 40 years of their lives so that the salt lake temple could be built. its a blessing to so many in this day.
i am not sure how you did it. and i am pretty sure i wouldn't be able to do what you guys did. although i would be proud to say i did. knowing i had walked that far, loosing many friends, family members and belongings on the way. suffering so much persecution for what i believed but knowing that what i stood for was right. and then finally knowing that i had made it. to a promised land. a place where the lord wanted me to be. that i was numbered among that chosen few. to bring the gospel into this part of the country. to risk my life so that future generations may have the true church in their lives and not be persecuted because of their beliefs. yes. i would be very proud to be numbered among you. we dedicate this day to you today to honor all that you did for us. and all the sacrifices you made. so thanks. (:
