dear grandma,
i love and miss you a lot. more than you could ever imagine. at the time it wasn't as hard for me. because i knew you were happier, you weren't in pain anymore. and i knew that the lord had called you home for a purpose. but as time went on it got harder and harder. when we would go up to visit i missed seeing you on the couch. having you give us a big hug and telling how much you loved us. i miss your smile, and your laugh. the way you could always cheer us up.
you were such an example to me in my life. in every aspect. you're love towards absolutely everyone. you're willingness to serve. you showed us all how much you cared and showed us that we're genuinely loved. you showed to us the importance of family. and loved when we would all get together.
october 2nd was the last time i ever saw you or talked to you. i knew that Heavenly Father needed you more than i did. and i knew this would probably be our last time together."i love you grandma" my last words to you. but i know i'll see you again. and i can't wait. i know you're up there and that you're still watching over me. i promise, i will never do anything that would disappoint you. i strive to become better so that i can live with you again.
i promise i'll never forget this day. it's the day you returned to back to our Heavenly Father. but also the day we had to say goodbye for a while. today was hard. i tried not to think about it. because when i did i'd have to try hard to hold back the tears.
but i'm proud to say that my grandma is up serving the Lord. she's up in heaven teaching all the spirits the gospel so they too can be with their families forever.
i know that families be together forever. and i know i will see you again. people always say that when you die someone waits to greet you in the spirit world. i hope you're the one waiting for me. and you can wrap me up in your arms and give me a big hug, and tell me you loved me, just like you used to. because i miss that, more than anything.
grandma, i love you.
love, your granddaughter, brittney
