you raise me up

it's a tradition. at the end of every school year, at the choir's final concert, our last song is "you raise me up" by josh groban. in the middle, kids go up and make dedications to people who've passed away, or just have made an influence in their life. i considered doing it. but i knew that i would end up like i am now. a crying mess.
my dedication would be to my grandma..
it was a little bit over a year and half ago that she died. she was fighting cancer, and it was her time to go. she was such an incredible example to me, and every other person she met. without her i wouldn't be the same person i am today. i love her and miss her so much, but i know that she's up there watching over me, and i can't wait for the day that i'll see her again, and she can wrap me up in her arms and give me a huge hug...  grandma, i love you.
