oh look. a juicy boy post.
dear girls.if you're close to me at all. or know anything about said boy i've been speaking of, we were pretty close. really close actually. but guess what? boys are boys. and boys are human. they make mistakes. trust me, they do. even the perfect one. honestly, they don't get much more perfect than the one that i managed to grab. but even he, will probably lie to you.
but hey, it's really not the end of the world.
brit's advice
to not letting your heart get broken.
1) have a testimony. as if this isn't the base of all things in this world. know that God is up there. that you're a daughter of God and he will love you no matter what. put your trust in him completely, and realize that there are no coincidences. each and every little thing happens for a reason, and they happen for you to learn from them. and if you don't believe this, read your scriptures. pray hard. cry lots. and turn your life over to the Lord, until you do. you truly have a testimony.
2) find yourself before you go looking for him. there really is nothing more important than this. when you've found yourself, you're happy. you're content with yourself. it's the point where you learn to accept your flaws. where you can feel beautiful without the make-up. you can accept what happens, because even if he thinks your ugly and obnoxious (not that he does) you still love yourself just the way you are. and that you're not relying on him for your confidence. when he drops you, or betrays you. your heart will still be in one piece. because having a boy, really isn't necessary.
3) tell him from the start you will only be best friends. (you can still really like him, and hold his hand and everything, just friends is just a nicer title) i'll be honest. i always thought i was the one who would betray or ditch him first. because i, am thee most indecisive person in the entire world. ask any one of my friends. i like basically everyone at the same time. it's rude to flirt with other boys while you're in a relationship, and it's obnoxious to not be able to flirt with other boys. but if you're 'just friends' anyways, then hey, do whatever you want! and when people ask, you can say just friends. and it won't be a turn off if other guys are interested. serious relationships really aren't worth it.
4) know how to trigger their guilt. i'm not a very rude person. but unfortunately, i really do know how to make people feel guilty. texting makes it easier. then you can think out the perfect things to say. from his perspective, he probably thought i was punching holes in the wall, or sobbing uncontrollably. (okay it wasn't thaat terrible) and really, i was happily making donuts with my family. don't over do it, they have hearts too. and be sure they know you're really not that angry, and that you're okay and still love them, even if they made a mistake. try to make them feel good, and point out once again, that it's okay, you can still be friends.
this post is super duper long already.
so more information will come soon. ish.
who knows when.
as for now: fortunately for him. i forgive super easily. we're still best friends. (:
