easter is beautiful.

the little kids, ecstatic because the easter bunny came.
the new dresses, and everyone dressed up extra special at church.
the music, and the special easter program and lessons at church.
knowing that spring really is in the air as you see the daffodils and tuplips that are finally blossoming.
the shining sun and blue sky, and seeing the beautiful world we're blessed with.

but even more, it's beautiful to know that our Savior died for us.
that his love for us is so strong, that he took all of our pains on himself. and suffered for us all individually.
and because of that, he's there to heal us whenever we need him.
when you fail the math test. when your best friend turns on you. when you lose a loved one. when the boy you thought you loved, breaks your heart... everything. anything. all our pains.
..when life seems to be falling apart. to know that he's standing right there to heal you. to mend our broken hearts, to build us right back up again, and strengthen us.
it's not the end, because he already suffered, so that we don't have to. it's beautiful.
