shortly after beginning, reality walked up and slapped me in the face. hard.
i'm sure i don't understand what people are going through, but often times, they'll let it out on you.
they'll be rude. make you feel terrible. be grumpy at you. roll their eyes. or just ignore you altogether.
which i guess, turned out to be exactly what i needed.
it made everyone else seem a little nicer, and made me super grateful.
grateful that i'm not surrounded by people like them in my life, who bring me down rather than lift me.
grateful that i'm not in their shoes, but rather experiencing this beautiful life i'm living.
and maybe, as i was completely breaking down, about to lose it, the only thing i wanted was to tell that boy all about it, simply allow is presence to make things better.
and just that thought, bumped things back into perspective. helped me once again to realize things the way they are. and caused my stressing to subside.
i was excited for school. for people. for a set schedule. for things to pick back up.
until this instance occurred. and reminded me that school only adds to the stress. the confusion.
people bring drama. and there are so many more expectations to fulfill.
it's coming fast, and i suppose we'll just take it as it comes, because really, what else is there to do.
hey brit.
