a conversation from tonight: (more like a remark)
back-up- i was casually accusing him (one of my best friends) of living in a current rebellious streak..
"brittney, think about it, you'll look back on your highschool life in three years and say you did what? you were ridiculously busy because you worked, did cross country, your homework, and student council, and everything else, and rarely had free time. is that really what you want?"
and i thought, "i currently am loving life, so yes. it definitely is." (:
i LOVE this. you're brilliant. and i completely agree. someday our kids will listen to us tell stories of the time in high school when we...skipped class to help with a blood drive or assembly. maybe not rebellious, but i love it this way. glad we agree. :)
