storytime: the girl who was looking for it.

(thanks to which ever annonymous commenter left the link!:)

i was hesitant to click the link. simply put, i wasn't in the mood for another critical comment, telling me what i'm doing wrong in life, or what i have yet to figure out on my own. we're all flawed, and i'm aware i am too.
and i suppose as i began to read through the story i continued to be caught up in that mindset, trying to pull from it whatever the annonymous commenter was trying to infer.
but as the story developed those thoughts slipped away as the words flowed off the screen. words are truly beautiful, and these especially. these are real, the things in life that are seldomly found.. they're the words that pass over your mind, straight through your skin and reach into your heart..
and truly make you think. and honestly, i probly still haven't taken it all in yet, or completely put together all the pieces. still trying to discover it.. or perhaps at some point it was found, and now finding isn't the goal, it's rediscovering.

"And for once, the girl remained still. Her longing silenced like the sky on a crisp winter night, millions of stars flickering in her eyes."
