the church is true.

without a doubt thee most incredibly amazing session of conference i've ever seen.
i was in tears for most of it in all honesty.

boys going on missions at 18, right when they're graduated from high school? craazy! but without a doubt inspired.
a few years ago the priest leaders in my ward decided to get serious about and put tons of work forth to preparing boys for missions and do extra mission prep classes every week, it's so cool to know that they were inspired to do it for these boys who will be leaving on missions so soon!
and girls going on missions when they're 19, there will be soo many turning in papers and getting ready to leave!
it's incredible to know i have so many friends who are so excited to dedicate their lives to the Lord to share this gospel.
It truly will be spread throughout the world.

and all the other talks were honestly so beautiful.

Ann M. Dibb- I'm a mormon. I know it. I love it. Being a member of this gospel isn't something to be ashamed of. Live it fully. When you know the gospel and you truly live it, you can't help but love it!

Craig C. Christensen- the Holy Ghost is a gift to you, one that you can call on anytime you need it in any situation, if you're living worthy.
There's no better feeling than knowing you were an answer to someone's prayers because you chose to follow a prompting.

Shayne M. Brown- Honestly just a beautiful talk, with such a strong spirit.
Look forward with faith, rather than backward with despair. We experience trials so that we can come to truly know our Savior.
Be grateful that we have the ability to love so deeply and eternally, and for the plan of salvation that we can live with them again.

Russel M. Nelson- if you have been truly converted to the gospel, your desire to serve the Lord will overcome anything else. missionary service changes lives.

Deiter F. Uchtdorf- without fail, my favorite talk every single time.
The older you get, you look back and realize how short life truly is, do everything you can every day to be sure your life isn't one filled with regrets, but one you'll be proud of.
Being busy is not a badge of honor, live a life filled with quality time spent with friends and family.
When it comes to living the gospel, don't be like the boy who dipped his toes in the water and claimed to go swimming-- if you live your life completely converted to the gospel and it's teachings, you will have lived with no regrets.
Heavenly Father knows the potential you have, do all you can to reach that potential.
Be happier. External situations don't affect happiness.
It's not a race, it's a journey-- enjoy the moment. We get too caught up on where the finish line is and that's not what life's about.
There is something in each day to embrace and cherish, look less with your eyes and more with your heart.
Let each day reach it's full potential.

and that's only session one.
what a beautiful conference session.
i really am so grateful to be a part of this incredible gospel. (:
