Sunday, September 5

every last one of them.

i love my ward.
a whole lot.
and i am pretty sure i wouldn't want to move.
and when i go to other wards its when i realize how much i love mine.
i missed seeing everyone today.
all of them.
and testimony meeting in my ward.
is always enjoyable.
i missed knowing everyone on a personal basis.
and listening to friends.
i assume atleast one of the gonzalez's got up. and i enjoy theirs.
and probably cute little jackson phelon too.
i missed watching the fastbinders walking up holding hands and bearing theirs side by side.
and i even missed brother kay.
whats testimony meeting without him?
and then theirs always the select few who rarely go up.
i'm not sure who it was today.
but i'm sure it was real good.
without all them testimony meeting just wasn't the same.
although church was still great.
its nice to know that wherever you go you can always find the mormons to make you feel welcomed.
and the baby blessing was real nice.
and the people watching was great.
considering there was close to 1000 people in the chapel.
70 of which were for the baby blessing.
about 400 from their ward.
and the rest were all visitors.
mostly from swiss days but some from family reunions and such.
and there was 4 families from pg.
i have never seen so many people in one area.
the sacrament took 40 minutes.
but it was nice to have so much time to ponder and think.
also it was pretty cool to hear Elder Holland speak.
he lives in my grandparents ward and was home for swiss days.
when he entered the room the spirit was so strong.
and even stronger when his testimony was being born.
me and my sisters got to go up and talk to him after the meeting.
we shook his hand and had a brief conversation.
he was such a happy man and talking to him you can tell he's a servant of the Lord.
so once again. my sunday has been a success.
family members were visited. church was attended. and the spirit was felt.
and now off to have a sleepover with my cousins. (:
