a day that will long be remembered..

it started out not so good, when i slept later than i would've preferred.. and had to lift my bike off of the wall in the garage at 6:30 a.m .. 

but as i was biking to gymn i saw carrie out running (: 

she waved and my mood went up about 10 notches.

we did P90X. and goodness. missing two weeks really got to me. 

and then to make it all better, we had TOPS testing. (doing insane amounts of exercises to see if your strength is improving)

at this point, my entire body felt like jello. bars was killer. and then floor. where the excitement began.. 

we were tumbling, life was good. and then i hit a wall. 

after many tears,  lots of pain, and 14 stitches, i was ready for the interview. 

as i walked in, a lady complimented my skirt, she said she adored it and it remind her of what she wore in the early 60's. what a perfect compliment for a vintagey skirt. (: 

we sat down and it didn't end up being much of an interview. she just said these would be your shifts are you willing to do it? if you want the job you start tomorrow at 4:00. 

i was super excited.. mainly because i would have money. money i could spend. 

and it happened to fit right around my gymn schedule. serendipity? 

i got home, my happiness continued and my toe was thankfully still numb. 

then guess who called? yep. this lovely lady. beth. so i spent my night up at her house. sitting in her rolley chair, her on her bed, doing absolutely nothing. just like old times, talking and catching up on everything that's been going on in our lives. (: 

and there you have it. the day i first got stiches. and the day i got a real job.
