I run the extra mile because I want to become the absolute best I can. Because that extra mile means more than a better body, it means a stronger mind.
It’s that moment when your calves burn as you run up a hill. When your mouth is dry and your lungs are getting tired. When it would be easier to stop and walk, to turn back early, or to not even go. But it’s the strength you get from pushing through, proving yourself wrong, and from not giving up. I run because what doesn’t kill me makes me stronger.
