Sunday, April 24

on easter's eve.

part I) maddie's house:
our  festivities began at maddie's.
where we gathered for a barbeque. and many many delicious strawberries.
there was an easter egg hunt that was to take place.
so we hid the eggs. and spontaneously threw the candy throughout the yard while prancing, twirling, singing, and leaping about. probably we thought we were in a movie or something. and sadly, my phone isn't capable of taking night time pictures.. then we ventured off to the dance.
part II) the dance:
ha. probably there are few places more awkward, (while still being wholesome) than a stake dance.
majority of the crowd is fourteen or fifteen. which in itself is an awkward age.
there are the attempts to dance. and flirt. there are the slow dances. the bystanders.
obviously it's an awkward place. but hey, we still love it.
the first half was honestly extremely boring. thankgoodness it didn't stay that way for long.
eventually everyone started to dance. no one cared for the awkwardness anymore. and it was so much fun.
oh and that last slow dance of the night. maybe he asked me to dance. (mentioned here, here (#4), and here
and maybe, i like him. a lot? but whate'er... (:
