strawberry milkshake lake.

my day just got a million times better because i saw this. 

like really, it's unreal. i'm astounded. i can't get over it. 

clearly i felt the need to share it with all of you. 

[ This gem is hidden all the way north of the Cap Vert peninsula of Senegal, north-east of Dakar. I read that this lake (Lac Rose) changes its colour depending on the time of the day – it goes from a light purple in the morning to a deep scarlet pink by the evening. The colour itself is caused by harmless bacterias but the high salt content, much like that of the Dead Sea, allows a person to float effortlessly on the surface. ] -exPresso
