i'm cliche and cheesy lines get to me.

he's an oak canyon kid. where the majority think they're to cool for us. 

we'd met a couple times but he's never seemed to care enough to learn my name. 

so his wave caught me completely off guard. later he deecided to strike up conversation number two, 

i apologized for not returning his wave and a short conversation followed. 

when we were all having pizza, he seemed to linger close but i didn't pay any attention. 

i heard my name and saw him glance up. he thought i was cute, and i made the mistake of thinking his cousin being a girlfriend. 

shortly after school was out i got a text. he didn't have to tell me for me to know who he was but i might've played hard to get, 

and let my friends have a little to much fun taunting him and telling about my (nonexistent) boyfriend. 

"when i saw you i couldn't take my eyes off you. not only cause you are beyond gorgeous but i saw something else in you.. i don't know how to describe it."

"hah even though i really don't have a chance with you. you. are. gorgeous brit(: inside and out. i might barely know you, but i don't need anymore to tell."

and it wasn't even day one.
